The Contemporary Antique’s Gallery is a cultural and artistic place where unique works and very special details can be found. DIVUSART Gallery shows original contemporary author masterworks inspire in antique art masterpieces. This means that all works are contemporary and not antiques. All the works are created by hand, just like in the antiquity, without the use of any industrial means, due to which each work, even if part of a series, is unique; it is impossible for two works to be perfectly identical.



Depending on how original they are, the Works of the Author which are shown in this gallery are separated in “Contemporary Antique Masterworks” and “Reproductions”. In distinction from reproductions, Contemporary Antique Masterworks are originals, no copies. The author’s creative vision leads to a work, which differs from the inspiring model in the material used, or the technique, or the composition. The same time duality of being contemporary and antique, creates a concept which allows saying that these original works, made nowadays, can be qualified as Art pieces. These Masterworks due to its originality, timeless beauty and value, they will last forever, generation after generation. Qualifying these pieces as Masterworks or artistic handicraft, etc., it’s a matter of subjective perception of what art means. The best word to describe that kind of works is a German word: “Kunsthandwork” which includes artistic creativity and handwork.

	All the masterworks have been carefully chosen by the Artistic Department from the authors production and they can be found in the Gallery in different series or collections which have to do with a theme (prehistoric, icons, agricultural calendar, Middle Age musicians, Middle Age workers, Middle Age scenes, Angels, Virgins, millenarian personalized portraits, etc.).



To enjoy the master works much more, each of the pieces is sent with a booklet with extended information about it (authentication’s certificate, context, iconography and technique, guarantees, etc.) and it’s also sent in a very luxurious and elegant packaging.



Every single work exposed in here can be originally seen, after request, in Madrid or Toledo (Spain). Bearing in mind the limited number of works an author can create, the works are delivered to the customers, following a strict line of order.
